Notes: Good views down Tamar River and of mountains - Gates locked between 6pm and 8am most days, need to walk in.

Notes: Very busy during summer, Best to park in town and walk up.

Notes: Good access to water falls, takes 1 hour from Launceston.

LOCATION: Lilydale Falls

Notes: Walking track is fairly good, about a 1/4 hour walk in to main falls.

LOCATION: Low Head - Georgetown

Notes: Have to watch for snow and bush fires, can get very windy and road is bad in places.

LOCATION: Punchbowl Reserve

Notes: Main car park locked after dark, very busy during summer. Need to watch for snakes.

Notes: Most active of a weekend.

LOCATION: Tail Race - Tamar River
Main Subjects: Tamar River, Birds, snakes.
Notes: Have to watch for snakes, can get quite busy with boats around.

LOCATION: Trevallyn state reserve

Notes: Some parts locked after dark, need to watch for snakes.

LOCATION: Windermere jetty and church,

Notes: Good fishing spot also.
